Will my AC SpeedStick reconnect after power loss?
Yes it will search for WiFi router for 5 minutes, then it switches back to “program mode”
My switch did not reconnect after power loss?
Shut off breaker to air handler so switch looses power. Turn on and it should reconnect. Repeat if necessary.
We installed an AC unit won’t turn on?
There is a possibility of probe “grounding out” on coil. Trim the probes with wire snipers, leave short but protruding through the polyurethane.
Can we cut the probes wire to feed through where needed?
Yes just wire nut or crimp together again.
What are the clips for on WS-101?
These snap onto sheet metal if available, inside the air handler. You can also run a zip tie through them and secure switch.
What is the 110 whip included with WS-101 for?
Attach the whip to the input and safely cover the output wires. It can be plugged into any 110 outlet to program, and better success rate than programming in hot attic for example.
We connected switch to power but don’t see the SSID # on the WiFi?
Switch has to be connected to power for 5 minutes before it is visible on WiFi
