Step by Step Instructions

  1. Download the ACspeedstick app from the app store.
  2. Upon opening you are brought to a login screen.
  3. You will have to create credentials and verify email.
  4. Click small terms box then click LOGIN
  1. This next screen is your CUSTOMER page.
  2. Click ADD CUSTOMER to create a customer.
  1. On this screen, you will enter the customers’ details.
  2. Click SAVE (top right)
  1. After you click save, it will go back to the CUSTOMER page.
  2. Click on one of your customers (NOTE: the CUSTOMER button will always bring you back to the CUSTOMER page.)
  1. This will bring you back to the customer details, which is already complete.
  2. Click on the DEVICE button bottom right
  1. This will bring you to the DEVICE page.
  2. Click ADD DEVICE (top right)
  1. This will bring you to the CONFIGURE device page.
  2. Skip Device ID for now and fill in the Device Name. Examples of Device Names would be “Bedroom 1” or “Living Room” or “Elevator 3”.
  1. Then fill in the contact details, this would be the person or business that would receive the Text & Email alerts when the switch is tripped.  NOTE: Must know Cell Carrier in drop down under phone number field to receive text alerts. E-mail alerts will still work.
  1. Click CONFIGURE WIFI
  1. This will take you to your SETTINGS.
    TECH TIP: Installer needs to be close to the air handler and within WI-FI range for WI-FI hookup.
  2. Scroll down and click WI-FI
  1. In the WI-FI screen, you will see your local Wi-FI, and towards the bottom of the page you will see NETWORKS.
  2. Look for a number beginning with SS, as you will see SS8979AO in below picture.
  3. IMPORTANT Before you click on the SS# , take a screen shot or write the number down.
  1. After you have written down the SS#, click on the SS# number in your network.
  2. Enter the following password: SpeedStick@1
  1. This will bring you to the WiFi Manager Screen.
  2. Click Configure WiFi button. (Note: Can take a few seconds to go to WIFI networks)
  1. Choose WiFi Network.
  2. You will need Wifi Password for the next step
  1. Enter Password for WIFI password.
  2. Click on SAVE.
  1. Saving Credentials Page will take a few seconds and then disappear and bring you back to WiFi Networks.
  1. Open up the ACSpeedStick App again and enter the SS# in the Device ID field.
  2. Click SAVE top right.

Switch is now connected to the internet and will notify via e-mail and text, when the switch is tripped.

After Saving, it will bring you back to device page and you can click Customer Button to return to customer page.
